Where Do You Start?

Do you ever just look in the mirror and feel unhappy and fat? When you try on clothes, do you just parts of your body disgusting? Well, that was me. I grew up in a household where health and nutrition wasn’t that important. After years passed by I went to college and realized that I gained the “freshman 15.” I was close to 200 pounds and I found that to be unacceptable. From there on out, I started to research the different ways to lose weight. I started four years ago and eventually found fitness to be my passion. Losing weight is probably the most hardest thing to do with all the diets, restriction, discipline. But it will shape you to be a stronger person physically and mentally. The one thing I’ve learned all these years in my journey is that that only way you will come out to be successful is with many failures. Each failure gives you knowledge on what you can do to better yourself and what works for you. I emphasize this because you are in control of your life and similarly your body reflects on how you take care of it. Therefore, it is important to know that nutrition is the only way you will be able to make progress in your journey. My final advice to you if you want to decide to change your life is that if you start your journey with a timeline, everything your doing will be more of a chore than a lifestyle. Although, it may seem like it is. Eventually the longer you continue and see progress, the more you will fall in love with the process. Oh and yes, failure can be discouraging but it should also be a motivation to find a way be successful.
